Very good,
This review is from: Apers (Paperback)
I finished reading the Apers in one afternoon: a riveting science fiction tale told very well. The characters are carefully developed and described. Most of all, I'm delighted to find a trove of universal values in both humans and apers: lasting friendship, fierce loyalty, strong sense of community, undiminished integrity in the face of adversity. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and would recommend it to readers of all ages.

Going Apers,

This review is from: Apers (Paperback)
I originally bought this book for my son, who is a sci-fi fanatic. He said he really enjoyed it, so I thought I'd take a look. The characters are very engaging, you find yourself pulling for them in their endeavors. The whole genetic engineering theme was handled well without beating the reader over the head with fictionalized science. What was created was a forseeable future gone wrong if the present is not handled carefully. I found it very thought provoking and had the extra perk of getting to talk to my son about something besides his grades.
