Product Description

Apevia Java 500-Watt Power Supply Apevia's Java 500W power supply is a great looking unit with excellent cost efficiency for its features and reliability. This power supply features a thermally controlled 120mm UV blue fan. When internal temperatures rise, fan speed increases; at cooler temperatures fan speed will decrease or pause. It comes equipped with plenty of connectors including 2 × SATA and 1 × PCI-E connector to support modern PC systems, and sleeved cables for improved airflow and appearance. The Java 500W power supply uses industry protection technologies in order to safeguard your system: Short-Circuit, Over-Current, Over-Voltage, Over-Power, Under-Voltage, and Electric-Shock-Free.

5.0 out of 5 stars great power supply, September 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Apevia Java 500-Watt Power Supply (Electronics)
I have had this power supply for a year with no problems. I purchased this because my old power supply would not power all of my needs. Have a 9800 GT graphics card with two hard drives and a duo core 3.2Ghz processor. No problems at all with this supply. It will add a little extra noise with its fan.

3 DAYS IT WORKED, THEN CRAPPED OUT! not a load or heat issue, just garbage power supply. my full tower is a MozartTX, awesome case plenty of breathing for best cards and mobo.

running a quad AMD- gtx470 single 12 gig of mem and W7X64. 4 drives. 1 dvd .

went to SWS electronics in Tucson and bought a 500w EVGA and has been fine since! DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$ or time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible, September 29, 2010
This review is from: Apevia Java 500-Watt Power Supply (Electronics)
I had the same experience as the other person did. Tried it thinking it would work and all of a sudden it died. I then got a free replacement and used it for my brother's computer because his is all low end stuff, Athlon 64 x2 processor, nvidia 8500GT, 1 HDD, etc. and it died after 2 months of use. I ended up using the fan out of it as an extra fan in my case. I absolutely would not recommend this PSU.
