Came in well packed. Assembly is a breeze - especially with the aid of a ratchet & the included hex wrench. Be sure to add two washers to each nut and bolt.
The product is stable, with heavier dumbbells at the bottom. Compact size - but the very compact nature can get in the way of larger dumbbells. I have sets of 40 lbs, 30 lbs, 25 lbs, 20lbs and some assortment of other smaller sizes. Based on the shape of your weights, it might be hard to have all of them in the side racks, as the larger weightblocks touching each other will prevent them from being properly stoved. A solution here would be to stack some of the relatively smaller weights, like 20Lbs on the horizontal connecting bars. It seems quite strong to hold such weights. And leave one of the side slots empty or have a small dumbbell in there. Overall, a very good product for a small gym or room, especially at this price($ 40.00). If you have many dumbbell sets larger than say 45 Lbs, consider a bigger product.

I was impressed with the quality of this rack--it's not that heavy, but still seems quite sturdy to hold my heavy dumbbells. It was a cinch to assemble, and the hardware is blister-packed so that no pieces will get lost in transit. The only draw back is that the feet don't have any kind of padding, but you can certainly add some felt sticky pads on the bottom or use the stand on carpet like I do. Highly recommended!

This unit is quite small, but very sturdy. I have a set of 15lb, 10lb, 8lb, and 5lb weights on the side holders and as I accumulate more will stack these on the middle racks. This unit was easy to put together. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something to store your weights in a small space.

I was able to put some flat weights below the rack, 51b, 8lb,&10lb on top rack, 15lb, 20lb, 25lb,&30lb on sides, (2)40lb,&(1)50lb on bottom rack. Able to remove easily being mindful about it from the sides. Would recommend!

We were looking for a small rack to hold our small collection (6-7 pairs) of lower weighted hand weights (3-20 lbs.). We like the size and style of this rack, but some of the weights not fit in it well. Only the weights with a 4.5 inch or greater grip fit securely. Many of our smaller neoprene weights with grip lengths of less than 4 inches have to be laid on top of the top slats and definitely don't fit on the side curved slots. Still, it works fine with this arrangement and the rack is now full on both shelves. It was just the right size for our needs.

This product was perfect for what I needed it for. Perfectly sized, it fits against the wall and hardly takes up any room. Not only do dumbbells fit on the sides, you can stack them in the middle racks too. A perfect fit for my home gym!

Took a risk and ordered this and it's just what I was looking for. It is well packaged and assembly was a breeze (there aren't many parts). It's smaller than it appears in the picture but that's what I was looking for. I currently have 2 x 40 lbs, 2 x 30 lbs, 2 x 25lbs and 2 x 10lbs on it and it's holding up well so far.

This rack looks much bigger on the screen than it does it real life. I was concerned once I got it set up that it would not hold all my dumbbells but I was wrong. The side racks held my 25s, 20s, 15s, and 12s and my 10s fit perfectly on the horizontal bars. There is enough room left on the horizontal bars for 3 to 4 more sets of dumbbells depending on how large they are. My 25s fit perfectly on the side racks, but I probably wouldn't try to put anything larger or you'd probably have trouble removing them as you needed them. Overall I'm perfectly happy with the product and glad I didn't spend twice as much on something else.

Dumbbells can roll around on the rack,

I wanted to warn anyone that buys this rack that it is pretty small, which might be a plus for some people. The thing that annoyed me the most about this rack is that there is no ledge to rest the flat hex part of the dumbbell on top of, the dumbbell is held into place by just the two skinny metal strips. Don't get me wrong, they're sturdy but the entire weight of the dumbbell is held up from the handle and is transferred onto the rack. This leads to the drawback that the dumbbell can roll back and forth on the rack, but the bigger problem which I consider dangerous is that your hand has to transfer the dumbbells onto the rack in a very controlled manner to make sure you don't squish your fingers. Normal racks don't hold the dumbbell by the handle and instead hold it by the two hex heads of the dumbbell. I don't feel comfortable using weights above 25 lbs. on this rack because of the potential for injury and I wanted to warn anybody else that might be considering it.

Excellent product. Easy to assemble and serves function really well. One minor defect (one of the self locking nuts had a damaged thread). Other than that a simple, well designed (form and function) product. |
