The actual weights are as expected; however one of the top selling points for me was the storage case to enable portability & clean efficient storage. When the shipping box arrived it seemed too big for such a small item and did not properly secure the contents. With that said the internal black storage box for the weights was cracked & broken which doesn't close. Quite useless. Reading prior reviews stating the same issue it begs the question if the reviews and comments are taken in to consideration by the supplier. Obviously they need to either not ship damaged product OR package it better so it's not damaged during shipping. Difficult to determine the actual factor

The weights are great in serviceability and price. However the packaging the box was sent in was loose and the box became deformed. Since the weights are the relevant part this product is recommended.

Weights are average - they'll do the job. But I was very disappointed with the case, and that was the reason I selected this. Case does not close properly, so it defeats the purpose of having the case. Certainly doesn't secure the weights for transport.

This weight set is good for the price. The three different size weight sets fit easily into their slots in the case and the flat case can be slid under furniture or against walls for easy storage. The case is cheap and too much wear and tear could easily prevent it from closing. The outer material of the weights is good for exercise, not grimy or slick as some plastic coated or just metal weights can be. Also, larger weights are available from the manufacturer, so once I'd graduated to heavier weights, I was able to find some that were just as nice and easy to afford. A good set for a person just starting weight training.

I suppose I was lucky as everything arrived in tact. The carrying case is definitely way too flimsy it you're going to use it to carry the weights about. I simply keep the weights under my bed and slide the box out when I want to use them; so, for my purposes it does the job fine.

The weights themselves are very nice with a comfortable grip and decently priced. Overall, I would recommend these if you want a nice set of weights, but definitely don't get this over something else simply because of the case.

These weights came in a nice case, the only problem was that one of the latches is broken so it doesn't stay shut when I try to carry it! Bummer! I like the weights-easy to grip/hang on to, even when your hands get all sweaty!

I was very disappointed when I opened the box. The case for the weights didn't close properly. The shipping company put something around the box to keep it closed but that must have been after the case came open. I saw a couple of reviews that referred to the problems with the case. I'm just starting out so the weights seem like a perfect beginning for me. I'm not happy that the case doesn't close and that my weights look dirty and "used" instead of new.

We bought this weigh set as a birthday present for my grandfather. He is 79 and recently retired. He had a very physical job and felt that in his retirement he was losing muscle mass.
We started him out with this set of wieghts so that he would not over extend himself. He has been very happy with them.
