I never understand why Apex changes their products. They used to have so many things that I actually liked. Their old formula of this very same MRP was excellent. So, naturally, they changed the formula. I couldn't even make it through the first shake of this new formula. DISGUSTING. I loved the other stuff, and so did all of my clients. This new stuff is nasty. There isn't that much of a change nutritionally, so I don't understand the need for a change. So I now have a full bottle of this junk at home. Thanks Apex! Absolute Apex FAIL.

I am a former trainer and a long time APEX user. Up until now, I was a big fan...but no longer. They only way to tolerate (by tolerate, I mean gag down) this new formula is to mix it with 2% milk instead of water and add 2 tablespoons of Hershey's syrup. I loved the original chocolate flavor (not the revised, yet previous double chocolate)! The original recipe had a great flavor (better than powdered chocolate milk mix or Ovaltine!) and the best part was it easily mixed with water versus milk (so you could control calories), yet was rich and tasty. This new one sucks and tastes like artificially sweetened dish water. I agree with the other reviewer, EPIC FAIL APEX! Go back to your other recipe, PLEASE!

i think this product taste great, i mix it with half soy milk and half water and its easy to drink. with milk alone it was too thick. I usually drink it one hour prior to working out and so far it has worked for me
