Plumb hammers are the best, grip, weight, balance and its ability to drive nails strait. The fiberglass shaft and rubber handle make it easier to drive large nails

This Plumb hammer is well balanced and easy on the arms even if driver many nails. The fiberglass handle helps reduce the shock on your wrist and arm.

The balance of these are truly outstanding. This is a replacement for one that was lost and I have tried several other brands since. (Hart hammers are really good for framing, but for general use I prefer this one).

I have several hammers of different makes and styles, but when it comes to driving or pulling nails I want my 40 year old Plumb 16 oz. It's perfectly balanced and I can drive nails straight or angled all day long without bending them. The steel head seems to be superior to all the rest because it's barely scratched compared to my much newer and less used ones. The same is true when it comes to pulling nails. The claws will bite down and pull them out even when the nail heads are broken off. This hammer is my prized possession in the tool box and feels like part of me when I'm swinging it.
