Book Description

Amazon certified #1 Bestseller in Time Travel & Gothic Romance

No mad skillz, no sacred destiny, just a pink tracksuit that will take her places she never wanted to go...

In this Gothic science-fiction novel series, a stylish group of twenty-something friends are torn from the Babylonian arms of 2006 West Hollywood and flung nearly thirty years into the past, setting off a chain of events more disturbing than a roller skating conga line. They wake up in an apocalyptic but strangely familiar landscape, complete with a hidden mountain compound and retro survivalists, hinting at hidden and retro secrets they must face if they want to survive.

Apocalypse Babes (The Complete Series). All six full length novels in a set for one low price. Includes The Z Word, The X Factor, iRobotronic, Kumbaya Much, Bite Me, and Apocalypse For Realz. Unabridged and complete.

5.0 out of 5 stars READ the APOCALYPSE BABES series NOW!!! December 21, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
The first STRAIGHT ZOMBIE book i have ever read...I AM COMPLETELY OBSESSED, ADDICTED with the Apocalypse Babes!!! Everyone must read this series right now. I've read every book, and I still can't get enough.

THE Z WORD (APOCALYPSE BABES BOOK 1) Starts with Seffy and her friends in L.A. 2006 one minute, and after an explosion, they are in the Montana dessert, with pink skies and glittery sand. They're confused and there isn't anyone else around to fill in the blanks. They soon realize that they aren't the only ones around, there are dead people walking trying to take a bite out of them--ZOMBIES. Seffy believes she's dreaming, Lani is singing songs, Addison is making jokes and Gareth is using his zombie movie knowledge to try to get them through this strange world alive. Seffy and her friends are scared but are soon rescued by a man named Malone. The bunch are mistustful of him, but what can they do? They don't know what's going on, and he seems to know what he is doing. He feeds them and takes them from safehouse to safehouse...

THE X FACTOR (APOCALYPSE BABES BOOK 2) Right where we left off in "The Z Word", the Apocalypse Babes are still at the Compound in Montana. Seffy is strapped to an exam table because she was infected (again). Seffy is finally let out, but not by who she would have expected. She seems to be fading from the people she is closest to and is having nightmares...or are they real? She wakes with scratches, bruises all over her body. Seffy's friends are acting strange and distant towards her--NOT VERY GOOD FRIENDS. Seffy has gone through some very tough stuff, everyone seems to forget that. One person seems to always be there, not the person she wants...but he is always there for her. Addison is my least favorite person out of the Apocalypse Babes.

5.0 out of 5 stars A series you cannot put down! December 21, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Getting this Complete Series of un-put-downable books from author Bella Street is enough to make anyone believe in Santa Claus! Full of compelling characters, especially Seffy and Trent and with some real weirdos too -- there are many cliff-hanger moments where you HOWL at the author for leaving you in suspense. At least with the compilation series you will be able to read on without having to wait for the next instalment! Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! June 25, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Well, I actually found this book difficult to review. I loved it. In fact, I've done very little else between now and when I started it but read it. (This is all six books put together in one volume so it is long) I think I might have preferred to have found this series as individual books but that is fine. The characters become both more and less likable as the books go on. The heroine, who in book one i wasn't certain I wanted to keep reading, becomes a much more three dimensional character (and likable) as the series continues. Her friends--one in particular--becomes a lot less likable by the end of book 6. Its impressive, dynamic writing. I don't want to give anything away so I wont spoil here but I cried very hard and as much as I loved the ending (its well done) I wasn't 100% happy with it, which i think Is the point.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Series March 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is one of the best series I have read in a while and I know I will read it again and again. When I bought it, was looking for a zombie book. The first book in this series does have zombies but they are secondary to everything else going on in the character's lives and that was a good thing. The rest of the series doesn't have zombies but it has so many other twists and turns that the zombies are not missed. It is really about time travel.

What I liked best about this series:
- The characters. The author did an amazing job making them realistic. They seemed to have more flaws than strengths, especially in the beginning. Each character grew throughout the series, especially the main character Seffy. She started out whinny, stuck up, and just plain unlikable. But she grew and that made her real. By the end of the series, I absolutely loved her.
- The romance in this series is done really well. Seffy didn't end up with who I originally thought she would have. I love who she did end up with. Also, they didn't all get a happily ever after, which is realistic. (Ok, so at the very end they sort of did, which is also good.)
- The plot was never predictable.
- Every little thing in the book tied into something bigger.
- The writing itself was very compelling.

What I didn't like about this series:
- There were a few grammar mistakes here and there but they weren't enough to really detract from the story. It was easy to figure out what it was supposed to say and then move on.
- There was also the occasional instance of the author trying too hard to sound young/modern.

I should also mention that I borrowed this from the prime lending library and then lost my kindle. I had to finish reading it so much that I went and bought it to download on my computer, that's how good it is!

4.0 out of 5 stars Was a pretty good read December 19, 2012
By Hoodie
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The story started off a bit slow at the beginning and wasn't making too much sense but I stuck with it and the last book really tied things up. Early on, the characters were pretty shallow but as the story progressed you got to understand how they came to be who they are. It kept me engrossed thru the entire series. I would recommend this series even tho the premise is a bit far-fetched.
