Editorial Reviews

The end isn't just near - it's here! Conspiracy theorists insist the apocalypse will arrive in 2012, based on the predictions of ancient Mayan astronomers. But no matter what year it is, the question remains: How will it happen? Will the apocalypse come from the earths core, the skies, or the depths of space? Could the end of all life on Earth begin with a rogue asteroid or gamma rays from nearby stars? Could a super-virus or a super-volcano wipe out the human race, or will mankind destroy itself with bio-warfare and nuclear weapons? Nominated for a 2009 Emmy Award for its outstanding visual effects and 3D animation, APOCALYPSE HOW explores the frightening and very real scientific possibilities of doomsday.

3.0 out of 5 stars Its really just narrative April 18, 2013
Format:Amazon Instant Video
I hoped for dramatic graphic enactments of what might happen. Not the case. Also, the narrative attempts to strike fear or drama by suggesting that these event are likely, but they make terrible assumptions.

3.0 out of 5 stars Possible End of World Scenarios Reviewed October 27, 2012
Format:Amazon Instant Video
I'm a devoted disaster movie buff and will watch most anything devoted to world-wide destruction. While most of the movies in that genre are rather poor there are sometimes those that manage to work in a reasonable human interest story to supplement the destruction; this is not one of those, it is a sort of documentary of rather well known "end of the world as we know it" theories.

I did find it interesting enough to watch it all the way through but will probably not watch it again. There were really no new thoughts presented which made it much more of a review than a revelation. I suggest this one be viewed on streaming video before buying; perhaps you will enjoy it enough to buy the DVD.

2.0 out of 5 stars END OF TIME June 13, 2012
By feebee3
Format:Amazon Instant Video
The documentary was very turgidly portrayed. Could have been completely told in about 30 minutes. The black hole segment sounded a bit farfetched.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thought Provoking February 17, 2014
Format:Amazon Instant Video
A very decent hypothysis of the range of theories and possibilities of Apocalyptic conclusions. Concise explanations. A must for the Prepper community.
