The seven apocalpytic seals,
This review is from: The Apocalypse of St. John (Paperback)
Rudolf Steiner held a lecture on the Apocalypse of John the Beloved - the beloved cousin of Jesus who became the Christ.
Rudolf Steiner refered to drawings of the seven seals in his lectures. This book is above-average spiritual and will not be useful for people who have not yet worked with 'material' like this. Rudolf Steiner explains about seven parts of humand make-up, meaning of numbers recorded in Revelations (aka Apocalypse). Rudolf Steiner also goes in-depth about how higher spirits dwelled in physical bodies and about the Christ-being. He very only takes one or two things and used an entire lecture to try to make it understandable for listeners; as such, there is not much explained in terms of actual things recorded in Revelations - Rudolf Steiner only took some things and lectures on that at lenght, really emphasizing the sevenfold nature (physical body, ehter body, astral body, ego, spirit-self, life-spirit, spirit-man). This book is not for beginners... some insight is necessary to understand what Rudolf Steiner is communicating about. |
