Each documentary is loaded with stunning footage from the lunar missions and interviews with crewmembers, historians and NASA personnel involved in each flight. Behind the scenes stories, mission objectives, astronaut training, barriers and significant scientific discoveries are detailed.
Apollo 11: First Steps On The Moon
On July 20, 1969, Americans watched in awe as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first humans to set foot on the moons surface. Apollo 11 was the first of seven lunar landing missions and served as a milestone for both the Apollo program and mankind itself. The astronauts spent 21 hours on the surface and then docked successfully with the command module that had been orbiting the moon. Astronauts were able to bring back materials from another planet for the first time. The documentary is loaded with footage shot from space along with film shot from within mission control itself
