Sparking Interest in Art and Mythology,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Apollo & Daphne: Masterpieces of Greek Mythology (Hardcover)
This book has full page reproductions of paintings from museums around the world that represent various Greek and Roman myths. The myths are well written and accessible for upper elementary and above. In the back there is information about where the paintings are displayed. Two of the paintings are displayed at The Getty which was the reason I bought the book for my niece as a preview of our visit there. However, pairing the stories with famous paintings gives more interest to the myths. As an adult I found the book engaging as well.
