Saran Wrap would be better,

These covers were terrible quality. They're about as thick as saran wrap and rip easily.

Cheap and not worth the money,

These are the cheapest things in the world. The plastic is very thin and rips at the slightest pressure. Plus, they aren't as large as regular chair covers and don't cover the whole chair. Don't waist your money.

I bought these with the hopes that our brand new chairs would be protected from our childrens messes and spills. They lasted no more than a week. They are terrible quality and tore very easily.

These are cheap thin plastic covers that will fit, I'm going out on a limb here and saying 'most' dining or upright seating chairs. As others have noted they are thin. We use them on a some vintage needle point chairs and they serving their purpose thus far. They do make the seat a bit slide-y, otherwise they would tear quickly, and likely will tear if pulled or stretched with any force. Mostly adults use the chairs and we're not squirming all over the place nor relaxing in them, we're sitting down for a meal. They are worth the ten bucks to me or $1 per chair with extras. I would hope you'd get better quality and life in a product costing $10 or more per chair. For us, they are not a waste or money and I don't think anything short of a custom fit with thick plastic and secure attachments is going to be a full solution, but the cost would be highly prohibitive.

These covers are great if you never plan on sitting on the chairs. Once you sit on the chair with these covers on, it won't take long before they are ripped. In the end, they were all destroyed within a few months. Go ahead and spend a little more on ones that at least have elastic all the way around, or made from heavier materials.

Product arrived sooner than expected and in new condition. The plastic covers are not very sturdy, but they serve the purpose for which I ordered them.
