About the Author
Deb Estes wrote this book to chronicle Apollo's journey through osteocarcoma (bone cancer in dogs) and address the issue of decisions and support for all those who may face similar challenges in losing your special pet due to dog cancer.
She hopes that pet owners will grant themselves the opportunities to make educated health-care decisions based on their knowledge of their pet and when faced with the loss of their pet allow themselves to grieve.
Finally, she wants owners to remember the gift their pet gave them with a smile, knowing they did everything to give their pet or in many cases, their best friend the very best in a lifetime of love and care.
