Let me start by saying that this is a great song, and I actually like what Timbaland did with the it, and actually prefer this version to the original. However, why did Timbaland give OneRepublic (the band that made the song), a "featured" spot. The guy just remixed the song, and added his voice to the background. Is that deserving of taking credit for you making the song? No. I mean, I'm not the biggest Timbaland fan mind you, I like "The Way I Are," but really, this is an undue cheapshot. But, if he hadn't done this, then OneRepublic probably would have taken forever to put out their stunning debut, so in a way, it's actually a good thing. Still bad, but good came out of it.

Overall, the song is still pretty great, and it deserved to be #1. But support OneRepublic and go buy their album, "Dreaming Out Loud." It's a great CD that has this song, and the original, and enough other stuff to please most everybody.

Timbaland is a genius in the studio. Whether he's producing the music of Nelly Furtado or Justin Timberlake,he knows how to make a sexy beat. Timbaland transforms OneRepublic's easy listening "Apologize" into something with a deep groove. True, Timbaland is in the background,but it's a thoughtful song with a groove. It's a great lil' earworm. No need for apologies here-it's pop/rock gold.

Timbaland is my fav producer and this i think my fav track off the album.

I like the original version of this song, and I don't typically like remixes... but this mix really makes the song in my opinion!

I'm not normally a fan of remixes, and in this case there is no exception. If you have not bought the original OneRepublic album (Dreaming Out Loud) that has this song on it, you are missing out. I understand Timbaland helped OneRepublic get started, but there is no reason for taking credit for someone else's song.

I feel that Timbaland's contribution to the sound/mix of the song could easily have been left out. I much prefer the original mix to this version.

I love this song because you can feel the emotion in it. You must buy it.
