This is a very inspiring book - because the words are mostly those of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Christ. I found it very informative and moving, full of practical ways of fulfilling our responsibilities as Catholics and mothers. It is comforting to know what the Blessed Virgin and Her Son, Our Lord, desire from us in this modern age. FIND OUT NOW! READ THIS BOOK!

I came across 'The Apostolate of Holy Motherhood' 12 years ago when I had two lively toddlers, and another baby on the way. I was tired, frazzled and up to my neck in diapers. This wonderful book gave me a new perspective on the challenges of motherhood, marriage and life itself. Its divine guidance, in the form of messages from Our Blessed Lady and the Christ Child, helped me to find peace in the midst of busy days and sleepless nights. I have referred back to the book many times in the intervening years as my children were growing into teenagers and have found its words to be consoling, uplifting and unfailingly wise. And why not? Our Blessed Lady was a mom, too!

This is a very interesting book. I'm curious whether the Church has approved her experiences. Either way, as a devout Catholic, this book was very interesting and inspiring. I highly recommend this book to all mothers.

I am doing a book study with some other women on this book and we all find it very challenging (in the flexing our spiritual muscles sense), but helpful and inspirational. Obviously, this isn't geared towards non-Catholics or Pelosi-type Catholics, but for someone taking their vocation and faith seriously, this book rocks.

The book is essentially a transcript of visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus that were given to a woman in the US in 1987. The visions and documenting of such in this book have been approved by the Catholic Church.

The Lord led me to this book and it has been wonderful. If you are seeking a life that combines gift of motherhood with a deep spiritual life, immersed in the sacraments, you need to read this book.

The book speaks for itself but I was particularly encouraged in the truth of the very high calling of motherhood. It references the "holy vocation of motherhood" and the "great dignity of children." These are themes and concepts that will lift us as people to good. Even if you cannot engage in the apostolate personally, reading the book will broaden your spiritual horizon in a good way. A most excellent book. I have given several away because I believe the content is meant to be shared. I am grateful for this book.

This book is an answer to the prayers of every busy mom. Initially, received as a gift, I have referred to it for over 10 years. This book led me on a beautiful contemplative journey, possible in the home, and drew me closer to Our Lord and His mother. By drawing closer to Our Lord I grew closer to my husband and children. This book has given me permission to step away from the busyness of the world and remain focused on Our Lord's plan for me which is motherhood. Unintentionally the church and Catholic schools can pull families in many different directions away from eachother causing strife and heaping heavy financial and time burdens on the shoulders of parishioners. Straight from Our Lord and Mother are words of wisdom to remain focused on eachother and holiness and turn away from the demands of our secular society. Any family who desires peace in their lives should read this book. The blessings and graces that have been poured out in our family life as we remain devoted and prayerful to the teachings and precepts in this book are too countless to name.
