WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:

- Modojo - “Neat concept, cool physics…very addictive.”

- Nine Over Ten – 4.5/5 - “A totally fun and challenging experience.”

- IGN - 8/10 – “The simple, repetitive gameplay and fun levels are so addictive that I can't stop playing.”

- AppleTell - “Is it contagious? Kona’s Crate is very much one of those games with levels so fast and seemingly easy that you’ll quickly found you’ve spent more time with it than you originally anticipated.”

- 148Apps - 4/5 – “Kona’s Crate is compelling stuff. It’s challenging after a while and will occasionally make the player want to tear their hair out as on the 50th attempt, they struggle to get past that pesky last corner. But players will still go back for more thanks to the appropriate physics engine that means the player never feels cheated by it.”

This game I thought started out a bit easy but the levels quickly become a lot more of a challenge. I like that you can look around the levels by dragging on the screen before you hit start to see where you are going (did not realize I could do this at first). Really like the art too!

** Update Jun 25th **

I have had this game a few days now and still love it.. just about at the end of the third campaign (but need to go back and 3 star everything). Just to add to my previous comment I realize now in addition to dragging you can also pinch zoom in out or see the whole level at once! Lastly don't forget if you get stuck on a level you can go back to the campaign menu and skip over it thankfully. Love the open-feint integration but have no clue how people finish some of these levels so quickly. Well worth the money.

I've been playing this game straight through from the beta up to release and I love this game significantly more than any of the attractive games on the market now such as angry birds, which I completely put down when I started playing Kona's Crate.

Ran fine on my Amaze with Gingerbread. After a hiatus, installed again under Ice Cream Sandwich. Declined OpenFeint, and the app exits. End of story. Bye, Kona!

Played with an HTC incredible with really big hands

I should mention I didn't actually make it very far into this game. Took me a couple of minutes to figure out how the jet platform worked and how to steer it around.

The thing is it's just a plain little platform holding a boring wooden box. You have to steer around obstacles to get it to specific area where a guy in a mask will do a little dance.

There's no weird little plot or semi-entertaining back drops like angry birds nor any kind of sense of humor novelty like plants versus zombies. It's just a platform with a box on it. That's really hard to control and steer. At some point the lack of a compelling reason to continue simply made me stop playing.

As mentioned above I have really big thumbs. Which is important since thumbs are used to fire the respective jets to lift it up the crate platform: I kept hitting the menu or home menus causing the game to pause. This just made an already frustrating experience that much less fun.

So with the large thumbs caveat in mind I do not recommend this game.

This game started out a bit easy but the levels quickly become a lot more of a challenge. I like that you can look around the levels by dragging on the screen before you hit start to see where you are going.

I have had this game a few month now and still love it.. but it hasn't work on the Motorola Droid RAZR since the Ice Cream Sandwich update. I recently got Jelly Bean and its still a no go. It crashes after you see the Kona's Crate splash screen, the IndiePub logo and then the Darkwind Media logo. It doesn't matter if you choice to use OpenFeint or not it still crashes.

I have tried a factory reset and that doesn't solve the issue either going to test it on some other phones to see if I can figure out if it is the OS that is causing the issue.

I will be trying to see if I can get an response from IndiePub to find out what the issue is. If that doesn't work I will contact Darkwind Media. It doesn't matter if you install it from the Amazon Appstore or the Google Play store.

Droid X, works great very smooth game play, those with low end devices wont be able to play since it's a game designed for higher end phones. Yes that includes all optimus phones. Not right to rate a game low just cuz your Dollar Store phone can't play it. Just sayin.....
