To begin, I'll start with my biggest disappointment, so if anyone decides not to read the whole review they will at least come away with what I wish I knew before buying. The size of the compartments is small! I bought this for vitamins and supplements (which are usually large) and ONE pill barely fits per compartment! (and only if you put it on an angle, see photos). To be fair, Amazon did have the actual dimensions included in the description... it was my own fault for not actually visualizing that size before buying. I have uploaded some photos for anyone interested, and included a quarter to give some point of reference.

This product was worth the money (assuming your pills will fit). I saw several other options here on Amazon, but this was about the same price and had a case. I also like the idea of being able to remove a "days" worth of pills to take with me.

As to the build quality, it's made in China (enough said). I found the case to be fine, but I found the individual compartments hard to open (I am strong, it's a matter of poor design/quality of the "latch"). The plastic used is "hard", and so when trying to lift the latch and having to put a lot of pressure, it can dig into your finger. An older person, or anyone ill taking pills might have problems trying to open these.

PRO's
- Includes a decent case
- Can remove a days pills and take it with you
- Price (I paid ten dollars and ninety eight cents)

CON's
- Compartment size is small (see photos to decide if it will suit your pills)
- Compartments hard to open

I gave it four stars... took one off for the difficulty in opening the compartments. I wish they were larger too, but the dimensions are in the description so no points off for my failure to notice :-)

I need to return the items. My wife has a terminal disease and takes large dosages of multiple medications. Years ago I purchased the same product as displayed at a Nationally known pharmacy. Imagine my surprise when the item arrived and I learned the manufacture decreased the sizes of the pill cases by 40%. They are useless unless I want to not give my wife a number of the medications she uses each day for her illness. I need to figure out how to return the four items purchased.

I use 5 of them put in different colors and fill them up once a month. I travel all the time and don't like to be limited by my condition more than necessary. I do wish they had red tubes as well as the clear , blue, and green.
