The plans are everything that I had expected. Any one with decent woodworking skills can make a real Appalachian Folk Dulcimer from these full scale plans. I repeat; these are full scale, which make it such a easy and joyful experience to work with. Since it is full scale, you can use these as exact full scale temptplates. There are no mistakes to be made as with using a artitech's or Engineer's scale in less than full scale plans making conversions. These are exact, and a teenager should be able to make a dulcimer from these plans.

Thought that more than one type of shape would be presented. Only one "teardrop" was shown. I was really looking forward to the double helix shape.

this is agood looking plan for a tear drop and hammer dulcimer. i wish that it had a hour glass design instead of a hammer over all good design on tear drop
