A great CD, March 4, 2008

This wonderful album has twenty track, each one a wonderful old hymn played in that enchanting Appalachian sound, upon authentic instruments including the hammered dulcimer, dobro, mandolin, acoustic guitar, high-string guitar, and autoharp. I love the way the CD sounds, so relaxing and so uplifting. But, what's wonderful is that the songs are played in a non-idiosyncratic manner, which means that if the Spirit takes you, you can go ahead and sing along.
This is a great CD, one that I love listening to, and think that you will too. I highly recommend this album to everyone!
