This book is broken down into three practice tests for engine operator and three tests for aerial operator. Each test for engine operator builds upon the previous test. After reading the IFSTA Manual for engine operator, take the first test. Answer all the questions and any you guessed at mark with an "x". Any you get wrong mark with an "x". Highlight the correct answers in the IFSTA Manual and reread the paragraph before and after the answer. Go to the second test and do the same. Finally, take the third test and do the same. I know several firefighters who have used this book and their scores improved with each practice exam. When they took their certification exams, they all passed and thought the certification exams were a breeze. There were a few firefighters who did not complete all of either the engine operator tests or the aerial operator tests. These firefighters had to retest one of their certification exams. Highly recommended for anyone considering to take the certification exams for Pro-Board or IFSAC. I would definitely buy other exam prep books.

I canceled this order for this book and it was sent anyway and my account was charged. When I consulted with the company they informed me that it would be a restocking fee and that I would have to pay for the postage, so now I have two of the same book and out of my money.

This is a Great study guide and help immensely on the state exam. I would recomend to all.

You get what you put into it. I studied the three exams the day of the exam and was able to score a 97 on the state test. It was well worth my time and money to obtain this book.
