This review is from: Appellate Advocacy and Moot Court (University Casebook Series) (Paperback)
For me this book was excellent in preparation for moot court honors society tryouts, and particularly for oral arguments. I can imagine that it would be extremely helpful also for a competition or to just help with in general with appellate advocacy in the real world. The oral arguments section gives you detailed guidelines on how to prepare for questions at oral arguments, the many types of questions that could be asked, where the judges are going with certain questions, and how to anticipate and respond to them. I thought is was essential. It really helps when you need significantly more than what is provided in your legal methods classes.
