Something for Everyone, March 10, 2007

Never compromising the original integrity of the vocalists or the artists they've thrown into their beauty blender, Funkstorung's full spectrum of talents are explored in-depth on this CD. These two German guys add their brilliant touch to every song they reconstruct. Highly recommended, even if you don't recognize the artists on the CD, or even if you don't like the ones you recognize, there will be at least one or two songs on this album available nowhere else, for everyone, making it worth every penny. The mix of Spacek's "1st Stroke" personally does it for me, then there is Bjork on the outer limits of minimalism, and I'm not a huge Lamb fan anymore so I skip that one, but I only wish this had been 2 CDs or more. I need more. Buy it!
