We're big fans of Appenzeller in my family-but I haven't been able to find it in a super market in about 10 years- so this was a fantastic Christmas treat. For those who haven't tried Appenzeller-it's a very strong cheese with a bit of a nutty flavor that's commonly used in fondue. This pound of cheese never made it into the pot-it was gone before lunch.
As far the shipping-it came sealed and arrived in one day.
