Incorporates the revolutionary lyramold round-shaped back - the acoustic guitar design introduced by ovation. the dovetail heel/neck joint allows the neck angle to be accurately and permanently set at the factory. the thruneck design offers a more playable, stable neck and supports the fingerboard into the guitar body. the neck is truss adjustable and made of mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. birch marquetry rosette trim. walnut bridge is shimmed for easy string action adjustment.

Applause acoustic guitars have always been my brand of choice. I've played some good music with their line over the past 26 years, because of the depth of sound, and overall durability. Their acoustic products are ideal for the novice player through intermediate, or even professional. This model handles well, but can take some getting used to. I'm anxious to get one of their electric acoustic models soon, as my next project calls for a certain sound. I know that I can trust their reliable product once again. For under $200.00, one can really enjoy the world of guitar without breaking the bank.

This is one of those "best kept secrets". A "cheap" guitar with a world class sound. A bit hard to play while standing due to the famous Ovation/Applause bowl shaped back, so it'll take a while to get sued to it. But it sounds better than several high-end famous brand guitars right out of the box

This guitar is one of the best I've ever owned. No buzzing, easy to play, and has the Ovation ring. I would highly recommend this for whatever stage player you might be, beginner to pro. Great guitar to travel with at an unbelievable low price. The quality for under $200 is the deal of the year.
