I recently got an 8GB iPod Touch, and wanted to get some accessories so I could easily charge the item, and wanted to protect it.

I initially purchased a $15 silicon protective covering at a local mall. The covering is flimsy and slides off easily.

So when this kit arrived, I did not plan on using the cover ... but I found that the cover was about twice as good as the $15 one that I bought. A bit thicker, more durable, and ultimately better protection for my iPod Touch.

The clear screen protector was easy to apply, and quality was decent. My ONLY complaint was that the manufacturer left a sticker on the top surface of the screen, which did NOT peel off. I had to use fingernails and other chemical agents to remove the sticker - what a shame, and so unnecessary. Still, after about 15 minutes of effort, I got the screen protector up to snuff.

The USB cord, and wall / car chargers work GREAT. I have had no problems whatsoever.

If you visit your local Mac store, you'll find that these items could easily total up to $50 (in fact, $30 for cover, $30 for USB cable, another $20 each for chargers ... now you are talking $100 "retail" value). Sure, these items don't have the little Apple icon on them, and maybe the quality isn't AS good as you would find in the Mac store, but come people, $5 vs $50-$100?? This is an absolute steal for the money, even at the $20 list price!

So trust that the quality is good enough, and if you need these accessories for your iPod, then don't hesistate to pick up this kit.

I was very excited about these items as I received them in a timely manner. I liked the convenience of being able to charge the ipod in my car or when we're away from home in a regular plug. The chargers for both the wall and car worked the first 2 times I used them, then stopped. I don't know why. I can only charge my ipod now with the usb cord that came with the ipod and only on my computer. The pink silicone protector is loose and comes off often. The only thing that gave this 2 stars is the shipping and the screen protector.

I'm not sure what other reviewers were expecting as far as a case cover. This fits just like the skin for my phone - sure, if you push at the edges it'll pop off. Just don't push at the edges. It looks fine, and it's secure enough to sit in my bag. Fits the third generation perfectly, not loose at all.

I like the color pink that came with this kit (pale pink, not retina-burning hot pink).

The chargers feel cheap, but so far they do the job, so who cares? I like the retractable cable, nice for the car.

My least favorite item was actually the screen protector. Don't use the little card that comes with it to push out bubbles - it scratches the screen protector! Also, the last sticker (the one you remove once the cover is in place) doesn't come off nicely. I'll have to go back and figure out how to get it off the plastic. It would be nice if they just made the sticker plastic so it lifts off in one piece.

With the screen protector in place, I haven't noticed a difference in response to contact with the screen. No complaints there.

This is a great kit. I plan on using my 3rd gen iPod as a car/work listening device mostly. It's going to take some abuse traveling. Even with the screen protector issues, I think the items in this kit will help prevent wear and tear (and make charging more convenient). Totally worth a few dollars.
