Look mom, no wires! The AppleM-^Y Airport networking card works in conjunction with the Airport wireless-networking base station and lets you network multiple MACM-^Y computers together with no wires. It works with radio signals so you can use it anywhere in the house up to 150 feet of the base station with a flawless, uninterrupted signal. Although all of the computers can run from one base, each unit must be equipped with an Airport card to send and receive signals from the base station.

Bought this card to replace one I got a few years back. Got it on a hunch - couldn't figure out why I couldn't connect to the internet and tried just about everything I could. Guessed the card went bad so I bought this one in hopes that it would solve my problem. It did - worked good. Pulled the old one out, put this one in, restarted and I was good to go.
