We just got this game for our almost 6 year old daughter. I've heard about this game for a while and so happy this version came out. I was afraid she was still a bit young but she read the cards and understood the concept without a problem. I had much more fun than I thought!
We also have a four year old. He can't read but he could still judge. My husband held two green cards, had the little guy pick one and had him judge as well.
It was a little hard on our daughter when her card was not judged the winner so make sure your young ones can "take the heat". I think this is the reason why it's for 7+, maturity.
I want to play this game with our friends and their kids at our next get together! I can understand why this was such a huge hit for large parties. This game will be around for years to come. Simple concept, I guess the KISS method works.

Comparing this game to any other kids game is like comparing apples to oranges. Although my children (ages 6 & 8) enjoy a variety of kids games, this is one of the few that dad and I can play without falling to sleep from boredom! We started with the kids version for them, and they loved it! They loved it so much, that I brought it to work (a middle school), and played it with emotionally disturbed and behaviorally disordered pre-teens. THEY loved it! The social worker is working on creating cards that could be used as teaching opportunities for the kids, so we can tie in some of the emotional components. Seriously, LOVE the game, so much we bought the grown up version. I can't wait to crack that one open!!

I bought this game for my 6 1/2 year-old son for Christmas and couldn't be more impressed. This kids version is exactly like the very popular adult version, only with simpler words. The rules are easy to learn and understand, but it will also get your child using his mind and is very educational. My son sometimes needs help reading some of the words, but I like that it challenges him in a fun way. This is a hilarious game to play with a child and you get an idea of how their mind works, which is often very funny. A great family game to play on a cold winter evening or anytime!
