I ordred 4 of these because of the price and it has "mother" the apple stuff in the bottom which I read when I researched is very important. It does have to be refrigerated after opening as it is all natural. Apples are Organic. We are using it for health reasons. We take 1 tablespoon a day. One thing I noticed after using the regular store bought type, This does not have quite the after 'pucker' taste. It is being used for so many health reasons. Would recommend.
