I had got this for my small chihuahua. He's very skinny but he's long. So I got him a Small size originally, but the problem was that it fit in length but he was just so skinny that it didn't fit him well at all. I ended up going back and buying the XS and am very satisfied with the way it fits. It's so lightweight that he doesn't mind wearing it at all.
