Great Little Gadget
I was kind of leery that this would work because the housing is plastic but WOW! You do have to apply a fair amount of elbow grease but it really slices right through the apple. Caution - blades are VERY sharp and best used only by adults. Great product!

apple slicer
i was a bit dissappointed because it arrived packaged normal but the product itself didn't look newly made. where it looked like tiny screws were put in i noticed rust spots. it's easily cleaned with brillo pads but it didn't look that great when it first came. it does do it's job with a little bit of elbow grease like what the other reviewer wrote. next time i'll...

What a great gadget. This apple slicer/corer is so easy to use and makes perfect apple slices. Its so cute I am displaying it on kitchen wall. The price is right too!
