THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT POWER THE MacBook Pro WITH THE INTEL DUAL CORE PROCESSOR. NOT ENOUGH JUICE!! It may work with previous G4 based Mac laptops, but not with my MacBook Pro.

Definitely a useful gadget to have...definitely recommend it. It works great, and will give you endless options of use during a long road trip.

The product did not provide the power as advertised and was very noisy. I replaced it with one from an auto supply store with which I am wholly satisfied.
