MacBook Design Flaws, November 26, 2011
This review is from: Apple MacBook White - 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB DDR2 , 160GB SATA HD, (DVD-ROM/CD-RW), Intel GMA X3100 graphics, Built-in iSight camera; mini-DVI output port with support for DVI, VGA, S-video, and composite video , 13.3" (diagonal) glossy TFT, Built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T (Gigabit) Ethernet, AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi (based on IEEE 802.11n draft specification); built-in Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) module, Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard (Personal Computers)
This Mac is finally what customers expected out of many macs from the 90's.
The MagSafe power adapter that is included does have some design flaws that work out over time as of this writing even buying a new adapter which costs like $80 only lasts a year.
The accelerometer that is designed to protect the hard drive from drops also must not work because I replaced the hard drive several times from falls off the bed and table.
On the brighter side the HD is easy to replace with an SSD that can survive crashes allot better.
If you can deal with having a machine that has those flaws, then it's pretty problem free and more than what you could expect from a cheaper PC.
