5.0 out of 5 stars Worked fine for me...
I was happy with this mouse, and only replaced it with a Magic Mouse because it came with my new iMac. I never had any dropped connections like the other reviewer said. My only problem was that the roller ball would sometimes not want to scroll in one direction. That was only because it had gotten dirty enough from my finger goo that it needed to be cleaned. I'd just roll...

2.0 out of 5 stars Unresponsive and connection is dodgy
I would LOVE to LOVE this mouse. In typical Apple fashion, it's elegantly designed. The scroll ball is a joy to use. The left/right click functionality works flawlessly - and without using buttons. So what's not to like?

I would LOVE to LOVE this mouse. In typical Apple fashion, it's elegantly designed. The scroll ball is a joy to use. The left/right click functionality works flawlessly - and without using buttons. So what's not to like?

1) Dialing in the response in System Preferences right up to the max still gets you only so-so responsiveness. (There is aftermarket software that can help with this, but you shouldn't have to go there.)

2) Connection drop after connection drop. Alternatively, a brief delay in your system picking up the mouse after not using it for a while.

Those are deal killers. Replaced! - with a Logitech mouse.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked fine for me..., June 4, 2010

I was happy with this mouse, and only replaced it with a Magic Mouse because it came with my new iMac. I never had any dropped connections like the other reviewer said. My only problem was that the roller ball would sometimes not want to scroll in one direction. That was only because it had gotten dirty enough from my finger goo that it needed to be cleaned. I'd just roll it upside down on a piece of Scotch tape a few times in each direction, and that would take care of it for a while. I used the mouse on the armrest of my recliner, no mouse pad required since it's optical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Apple Mighty Mouse - A super bargain, November 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless - Mouse - laser - 4 button(s) - wireless - Bluetooth (Personal Computers)
I recently purchased the Apple Mighty Mouse, this mouse is by far a more superior product that the new Magic Mouse sold by Apple. It has all the same feel and utility of a mouse at 50% of the cost. Battery life is great - easy to use, and connects right away in both Mac and Windows environments.
