Gailor was born and raised in the Chicago area and lived in Utah for many years. She now lives in California.

Apple Pie and Bubble Gum Sky by Gailor L. Schmisdt is one of he most delight readings I havd experienced in a long time. I have shared it with my grandchildren who just love it. Every night befor bedtime they want to have me read one of Mrs. Schmidt's poems to them. It is a must for anyone who loves good poetry.

A darling book full of extremely creative stories, characters and illustrations. The stories and writing style remind me of classic children's stories. Very memorable!
