This is a cheap Chinese imitation of the 'Back to Basics' model (search Amazon). It is made out of thin metal and plastic instead of the solid metal of my last peeler. It does not turn properly, and the fake silver paint of the handle chips off, which is a health hazard. Save your money and buy the better model.

Bought this for my kindergarten apple party. Tried it at home and it worked fine. Brought it to school tried to peel one apple and it broke. Thankfully Amazon customer service refunded my money as I chucked it in the garbage can at school very disgusted.

This peeler has worked very well for me so far. I have only peeled apples, but they have turned beautifully, especially considering the bargain price.
