I pre-ordered this book and if it had been available when I ordered it, it would have been very helpful. However three weeks later, it was only mildly helpful as I'd already gathered most of the information from the manual. While there appears to be little additional information than is in the manual, the analysis questions and real world situations do make this a worthwhile purchase.

If you have Final Cut Server or are thinking about buying it, this book will be a huge help. It coves the concepts you should understand to get you up and running. This is a complex product and getting off on the right foot is important. The book is worth the money in time savings alone.

This book is one of the best titled books I've read in a long time. One of the hardest things with Final Cut Server is wrapping your head around everything that the product can do: finding your way through the hype and figuring out how the product can be useful to you. This book is a great overview of what Final Cut Server is and then some of the basic features and installations that you will do.

When the book was published there wasn't a lot of extremely technical information available on Final Cut Server. But since then, sites like Xsanity [...] have introduced mounds of information on the subject. But the information you can find online is not exactly pedagogically sound, and this book is. Great little book!

This book provides a great overview and delves into some detail of Final Cut Server.
