Yes you just have to set up a play list in advance, or jump around your music to find what you want. I have different play lists for different activities.

No. The new "?Thunder?" style data / charging cable is included, but you'll either have to already own an adapter for charging purposes or buy it separately.

Yes, it has a USB cable you can connect to your computer, however, it does not come with connection to the electrical outlet, that has to be bought separately.

Yes, but only downloaded through a computer with ITunes. Check out Audible app on ITunes.

You can download music from Amazon on your computer, copy it into iTunes and then sync it onto the iPod. The iPod itself doesn't connect to the internet or to cell phone towers, so you can't download directly onto the iPod like you might with a smartphone.

You transfer music to the iPod with software , most people use iTunes but other options are available.
