I got my iPod nano on the first day it was released in stores and I love it, but it just scratches way too easily. These finally arrived at the Apple store and I am quite pleased. They slip over your nano perfectly and certainly make it FEEL more durable without adding a significant amount of bulk. It also fixes what I believe is the nano's biggest design flaw: it adds a layer to the front that lets you distinguish by touch which part of the click wheel you want to press. I no longer have to look at the nano to find which button I want to press. The tubes themselves also look very cool. I like the colors that Apple included in the set. As far as I can tell (one other reviewer felt differently), it does not scratch the nano when taking them on and off. My only complaint--and the reason it gets four stars instead of five--is that it does nothing to prevent scratches to the screen, which is the most important part of the unit. Still, this is probably the best product to protect your precious new nano.

These "tubes" are an awesome buy but there is a slight problem with the. While they protect your ipod, they actually scratch it when you take it in and out. This isnt really a problem since you should have a cover on all the time but I think its kinda silly that the very thing that is suppose to be protecting them is scratching them. Ohh well... the ipod looks amazingly cool in them though. Pretty good buy although i would recommend looking at other possibilities.

I was so upset when I got finger prints on my ipod. when it scratched. I got these and they are great. They make the ipod feel less delicate and you're not so afraid of breaking it. It gives it traction too so that it won't slip off your table, or out of your hand. the only problem I've found is that with the tubes on it won't fit in my armband. Oh well, thats a very good sacrifice for this kind of cool. haha....

ok i got my ipod nano like a week or 2 ago and i really needed a case for it so i went out and got a Belkin Carabineer case and the stitching came undone i really loved that case but decided to get somthng else (and i thought about getting a iSkin Duo but has anyone else noticed the thickness!) so i went to Circut City and saw these and saw how thick they were and bought these and they're really great (i also had a screen protector for it)

Hey, I am 13 and got my nano just yesterday, I got the tubes and they are awsome, but there is one thing about them that bothers me, on the sides of the nano, it's scratched.. But i seriously do not really care as long as there arn't any scratches on the front and back.. I would recommend it only if u have a screen protector..

Ipod nano tubes are very colorful and overall a good protector.

PROS- variety of different colors, play-through click wheel access, can access all buttons.
CONS-no screen protector. when you get your Ipod...keep it on! A bit hard to slip on and off.

I know that these were designed to keep my iPod safe, well these do a great job at it, so safe that you can hardly get them off once you put a tube on! If you have a docking station for you Nano - I would not get these because you have to remove the skin in order to dock you Nano! I like the fact that you get five different colors in the pack - however I don't see myself changing it often with such a tight fit! This is good buy for the money, and protects my iPod wonderfully!

Wow, I LOVE these skins. I like my nano so much better with them on because the turn-dial is easier to use and it just feels less fragile and dainty. They fit skin-tight so there's not really any added bulk or thickness, and there's access to the hold button. Taking them on and off is not too much of a problem, though it does take a few tugs. But there's no protection for the screen.........and that's important. So even though I have a tube on my nano, I still have to worry about protecting it.

I actually purchased these the day after I got my iPod, from Apple. I wish I would have gotten them from here, though.

I like to put Skins on my iPod, and with the Clear tube, you can still see the patterns on the Skins.

I don't really need Screen protection, considering I don't bring my iPod anywhere but on car trips and use in my house.

I left the Purple one on for, like, 3 weeks, and when I took it off? Nothing. No scratches, marks, fingerprints. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Goose egg. Nada.

The quality of this product is superior, however, the fit is quite tight. I guess that's the object, making sure the iPod won't slip out accidentally. It makes you think twice about changing colors!
