Apple beats Amazon by $60 Since the new iPad (aka iPad 3) was revealed, Apple lowered their price for the 16GB iPad 2 WiFi to $400 new. Apple completely stopped selling the 32GB and 64GB. Why is Amazon still selling the same model for $460?

You get free super-saver shipping and zero tax on Amazon; you get free standard shipping from Apple, but you still have to pay the tax.

You know when you look at the item's main info page, and you can click on the right to add the item to your cart? When I first posted this discussion, I didn't look at all the prices. All I looked at was the $460 price in the box on the right of the page, where Amazon's price would normally be.

You make a good point--thanks for bringing it to my attention. The title of this discussion should be: "Save More by Buying from Apple"
