I had always wanted an iPhone 4, but the price has always kept me from buying one. With the recent release of the 4s, prices have come down on the older models, enough for me to buy one outright. No need to worry if you're making a good investment, because you are. I've had this phone for a month now, and it works like a dream, no lag, great apps, excellent battery life, and the best display in the business. Just beware of the sellers who are selling their iPhones for a too good to be true price. Oh and to stretch the life of your iPhone even more, buy a screen cover, and if you're prone to mishandling your phone, get a rubberized body case.

First, if you are trying to decide between iPhone 4 and 4S based on price, go ahead and get the 4. I have no desire to use Siri. My iPhone does everything that I need it to do and really Siri is the only difference between the two phones. If you buy an iPhone 4, it will have the new operating system. I have not upgraded to it yet.

I've had my iPhone 4 for almost a year now and I purchased mine directly from AT&T. I have had a great experience with my phone. Before I switched to iPhone, I was a dedicated BlackBerry user. I have owned 4 BBs and I was really anti-Apple. I finally got tired of the lack of apps on BlackBerry and the outdated email interface and decided to switch. When I went to the store, the girl initially talked me into a Windows smartphone. That phone started freezing up on the very first day that I purchased it and some of the apps were unresponsive. I immediately took it back and got the iPhone 4 and I'm glad that I did.

I've never had any problems with phone reception or slow loading speeds. I have gotten a few dropped calls, but I'm pretty sure that is due to AT&T's issues. I use this phone for EVERYTHING from navigation to calls and texts to keeping personal lists. I use apps related to health, my bills, banking, discussion forums, beauty, and more. The steepest curve was getting used to limited data usage. You can only use so much data per month. With other carriers and phones, I had unlimited data usage. During the months that I had access to Wi-Fi at home, school, or work, I never went over because I could use a Wi-Fi network for most of the day. However, during the times that I tried to stick only to 3G, I went over my data usage. The only thing that really caused me to go over my data usage (twice) was streaming music and video.

I've ordered the iphone on-line and shipped it to a friend address as live outside the US.
The phone was received within six days after purchase. Everything looked OK or Just as described by the vendor.
Unfortunately or perhaps hopefully my friend checked the iphone and found that it is updated to the latest base-band!! means it cannot be unlocked and consequently would only work with AT&T... It was only two days after it has been received, so we had time to return it and get reimbursed. I should admit that this was not a bad experience with the seller, however, it could have been avoided if more technical information was provided ex. Base-Band...

The seller claims that this product was damaged by me the day I received the phone. The seller said it was actually refurbished when it said it was to be new when they were selling it. ATT instructed us to go to the Apple store which we did. The apple store rep said that this phone was in the name of a Deborah Brown of New York under the serial number on the phone. Again not even a new phone. They said that this phone was years old. They said the water damage was so bad it was considered junk and was not repairable. Where the water marks were on the phone they had been painted over to not appear water damaged and the screws on the phone were striped and then appeared to be super glued back in so the phone could not be opened up by the Apple store.

I am so upset and shocked at the horrible product that I received, the fact that it was labeled to say that the phone was in good/mint condition. For 343 dollars, and with amazon's usual awesome reputation, I had no doubt that for the amount of money this phone would perform perfectly. Instead, I receive a phone that the home button doesn't work on which is the complete navigation button of the phone. you can't turn on your screen or minimize windows without this button functioning properly. This also means i couldn't tell if anything else is wrong with the phone since i can't navigate on it. I was upset as I paid extra to have a broken phone shipped to me. Ultimately though, I felt comfortable in knowing that it had a 30 day guarantee. So I called customer service and was greeted by the most repulsive person I have ever talked to. Right off the bat he was rude and told me I should be happy with the phone that I got for the money that I paid for it. He also told me that I can just take it and get it fixed and it would still be cheaper than having to buy a new phone. Mmmm, lets see a new phone is 600, I just paid you almost 370 with shipping and have no idea whats wrong with the phone. So that's his answer? You should be lucky to have gotten what you got and now you should go spend hundreds more to fix it? Absolutely ASININE! I will never purchase anything through here again if this is the service and product that I am going to receive....so disappointing.
