Ok, Here is the scoop. I have ordered screens from different vendors on Amazon. When you click on each screen and read the reviews you will notice they are all have the same review! Before I order from a new vendor I send them an e-mail asking about the product. You should ask if there is a grid pattern etched into the glass. Tell them you have to view the screen at an angle. (kind of looking down the side of a car looking for door dents.) If they say yes, I would stay away.(just my opinion) I have done over 50 repairs now and have found some vendors sell quality screens and some sell crap. I used to use other web sites but Amazon seems to have the best prices.

Things you should know ... When it comes to the earpiece mesh(aka speaker or earpiece grill), NONE of the vendors here sell the screens with it. If you want the mesh you will pay more. You can also buy a new one for $3-6 online if you look hard. I just transfer the old to the new using a razor blade. ALSO ... there is a plastic piece that covers the camera (known as the camera hold) which also doesn't come with the screens. You need to transfer this over also by removing it with a razor blade. Also order 3M double sided adhesive because you will need to stick down the grill and camera hold. You will need to cut very thin and small pieces of the tape and it's very, very tedious. On the Verizon models you also need a pentalobe screwdriver to remove the 2 screws from the iPhone4. If you have a brand new iPhone4 from AT&T you will need it also. Older AT&T models have the #00 Phillips. You also need a #00 Phillips screw driver to take out the screws inside. The plastic screen removal tools are junk but are needed to remove the screen. A guitar pick also works well. I use a metal spudger but don't recommend this unless you have lots of experience with it.

I charge $100.00 for the full repair so I need to make sure I get the correct parts or I'll lose money.

I have purchased this LCD/Digitizer assembly at least 4 times for my repair business. Each time, the item was delivered to my house in under 3 days with all the parts necessary to complete the repair. The LCD quality is exactly the same as the original in the iPhone as is the Digitizer. For those of you who don't know, this is the only way to repair your iPhone 4 LCD or Digitizer. Unlike the 3g and 3gs, the iPhone 4's LCD and Digitizer are fused together and thus there is no way to remove them from each other to complete the repair. All sellers trying to sell the LCD or Digitizer separate from each other are scams. Do Not buy from them. As said before, this is a great part and if the reapir is done properly your phone will be good as new.

It appears as though some previous reviewers only replaced the screen and never actually used it.

for starters, this screen is plastic. It feels, looks, and most importantly, scratches like plastic.

I had my iphone with the original lcd, uncovered for 7 months without a single scratch. With this lcd I had THREE within within the first day, super frustrating.

In addition, though this isn't going to be a problem for those without a jail-broken phone, the status bar is unresponsive to touch, rendering it useless for its appliance with activator. (sbsettings for most)

the screen is also uninsulated, making the installation process more risky.

And last but not least, like a previous reviewer mentioned, this screen comes with no protective mesh for the earpiece. awesome....

do yourself a favor and consider these things before jumping for the lower price of a non-OEM lcd.

The lcd color temparture is off for the phone. It is a lot warmer than the orignal model. The screen breaks easily and cracks with just a little pressure. DO NOT BUY THIS. Pay for an OEM part and don't hassle with the crappy material.

the part is the right match for the Iphone 4 if you have a broken screen this is it. only thing is the screwdriver that is included sucks but oh well i didn't buy it for a screwdriver. lows has a good set for tny jobs like this.

the moment i got the product the box was damaged and the iPhone screen looked as if it was already put on put these people away they are cons. Dang i had to give u one star which it was negative stars thanks for wasting my time my customers time and my money,

I receiceved the product but doesn't work , can you help me about this situation?, what I need to replace it?

This screen fits and it 100% functional for the AT&T iPhone 4. Fits great. Works perfectly. This is the best. Came next day for only $4 more with amazon prime.

Was delivered ahead of schedule. I was able to install without a problem. This is the correct assembly to purchase for the 4G to replace original screen

I bought this after my phone fell face first into the road.

It does work; image quality is sufficient, get's smudges really easily and you can probably scratch it with baby pajamas!

One big problem I saw. The proximity sensor was acting really stupidly after. It looks like the spot that should be clear to let it see through isn't actually fully clear and it won't turn the screen off when you put it to your face.
