Well Worth the Price, May 10, 2009
This review is from: Apple iPhone 3G Black USB Hot Sync Cradle Twin Desktop Charger (Wireless Phone Accessory)
The main purpose I bought this cradle was to charge and synch my iphone with my computer. This cradle performs these tasks great. There have been other reviews that say you can't use a case with the cradle. This is true due to the fact that there is a clear plastic support that fits tight to the iphone such that it can slip accurately into the charging prongs. I don't see any way that a cradle could effectively do this and still allow for all the varieties of iphone cases on the market. The only complaint I would have is that it has a bright blue LED that stays on when plugged in. Even though the LED probably uses a small amount of power, it seems to be for no purpose and is quite brite.

Serves the Purpose at a great price, April 16, 2009

This is a great alternative to the expensive Apple branded cradle.
This cradle is weighted nicely so that when you push buttons and navigate on the screen when its in the cradle you don't feel like its going to get pushed over each time.
I also like that fact that it comes with a USB cable - so I don't have to use the one from that came with the phone from Apple, that gives me one more cable for charging or syncing from a second computer if needed.
Would be nice if it had a separate headphone jack integrated into the based - but really for the price you can't beat this cradle.
As for all the comments regarding the inability to use this cradle with a case on the Iphone, you're pretty much going to have that issue with any Iphone cradle on the market.

No frills, but does what it is supposed to - sortof, October 14, 2009

Honestly, for 12 bucks you really can't expect more than this...but a few things about this product make me nuts, and make it feel very much like the cheap knock-off accessory that it likely is:
1. The iphone does not sit all the way down in the cradle. It slides onto the dock connector and then there is about 1/8 of an inch space between the top of the dock and the phone. It may not sound like a big deal, but it gives the overall feel a "cheapness" to it that I did not like. Fortunately the cradle has sides that hold the device in place, or this would be a MAJOR issue.
2. The dock itself is slightly off-kilter...almost warped, so it won't sit completely flat. Again, not a huge deal, just something worth pointing out (it was true of 2 units I was sent as the first was defective)
3. If you use any kind of case, from the smallest silicon skin right up to otterboxes and the like, don't bother - you'll have to peel the case off every time you want to use it. For those that keep their phones "naked", it works fine.
As mentioned above, I got a defective unit on first go. The company that shipped it VERY quickly shipped a replacement and didn't even ask for the original back. The customer service was truly phenomenal. The unit itself does what it is supposed to do, but understand that you are only paying 12 bucks in a product category that can get up to 50 bucks easily, for a reason. It's a cheapie unit, likely manufactured overseas from very cheap labor/parts. I would recommend the product as a second dock - something you can either travel with or leave in an office, but I wouldn't suggest it for every day use: I seriously question how long the "dock" piece will stay in place.
So yeah - does what it's supposed to do, works fine, but there's certainly better out there if you don't mind tossing an extra 10 bucks or so into it.
