This case is exactly what I was looking for. It is the slimmest case of it's kind, but that is only one of it's great attributes.

The other plus is the unique feel of the case. It difficult to tell from the photos of this product but it is a combination hard/soft case. The case is rigid yet flexible and does not have a hard plastic feel to it, it has a nice rubberized grip to it, but is not soft and rubbery like other skin cases. Like others have said, does not attract lint and is easy to slide in and out of your pocket. The edges of it seem sharp but it has yet to leave a scratch from removing it from it's case to dock it. Does not fit in the iPhone Dock, but it does fit in the universal Dock with the case on.

Shipping is exorbitant, the thing only weighs a few grams, and at that cost could be shipped priority mail. Took them over a week to ship mine, but once actually shipped took 2 days to receive.

They also have one available in silver, which is the one I purchased, doesn't even look like the phone has a case on it.

I bought this skin after seeing high reviews. However after trying it first hand, I dont agree with the reviews with 4 and 5 stars at all. This is why. The whole purpose of a skin is:

1. Minimize breakage/scratches from drops.
2. Must allow full access to all buttons and connection.
3. Be slim enough to be comfortable enough to put in hand/pocket.
4. Must be sleek and cool looking.
5. Must not add too much weight.

This skin does meets 4 of the 5 requirements, however it does meet the MOST IMPORTANT reason, drop protection. It lacks it so much that all 4 corners are not protected. In fact the case is designed to cut around the corner to keep it thin. While this makes it sleek and cool looking, it does not provide shock/drop protection at all. Imagine taping 5 thin pieces of plastic around the phone and skipping the corners.

Not all is bad, the positive thing is that it does protect the phone's back and side from scratches BUT I had absolutely no doubt that if I were to drop it accidentally, the thin plastic would be useless in absorbing any shock at all, thus causing breakage. Let's face it, most skin buyers buy them to protect their $400-$500 from breakage and scratches if it accidentally drops.

Like a few other reviewers stated, this is simply a "polycarbonate" (fancy word for plastic) case. I admit it's the slimmest and coolest looking skin, but it provides ZERO break protection. Once you drop it, you'll know what I mean.

Shortly after this, I bought my 3rd skin that provided full protection and included a free screen protector. That one was almost perfect. See my other reviews.

I purchased here on Amazon the black and the silver versions of this case, and it is perfect. I looked around for about 2 weeks after getting my iPhone for the perfect case and all had negative sides.

This case is perfect, it's slim (will add about 2 milimeters to the size of the phone, it's strong and will protect from scratching, and it's perfect fit!!

This case is not only stylish, but the slimmest out there. It may not protect the best, but it covers the back nicely and adds a nice grip to the slippery metallic iPhone.

I like my phones slim and clutter free, so usually I don't like cases, but with the slippery aluminum cover, I felt like the phone was always going to slip from my grip. With this cover, you have all buttons and ports free and still have a nice grip, akin to the ATT Blackjack or new black Moto Q.

In times of uncertainty you can also flip the phone around and put it in face first.

Also something minor to think about, but adds to its features: Look at the pictures and see the circle that is cut out to expose the Apple logo. It is not only stylish but it helps tell the orientation of the phone in your pocket. This is a minor detail, but it helps when digging the phone from your pocket over and over.

All in all a great case, very slim, adds a grip without bulk, and does not grab pockets like the rubber cases.

This case is it. I've owned three (the other two being the gigantaur Speck IPH-BLK-TS ToughSkin iPhone Case (Black) rubber beast and the Agent 18 Eco Shield Case for Apple iPhone, Black hunk-o-plastic) and this one rocks over both, hands-down.

Nearly everyone loves this case, so I won't wax on about it too much more. What I will say is that some may have concerns about how much it really protects when it counts, given its ultra-slim profile. Well, today I dropped my iPhone + Cozip case 3 feet down onto asphalt (d'oh). The verdict: three corners took major knocks, but the case did its job: no damage to the Jesus phone.

Cozip is Lord.

As other reviewers have mentioned the case is slim, attractive, protective, and provides grip without being rubbery. I would highly recommend this case - for $10 it is a great deal (relative to the $30 cases at the apple store). It does not cover the chrome rim completely so if you are obsessive about protecting your phone from every minor scratch it may not be the case for you - but this enhances the appearance as you can actually tell that it is an iPhone in the case. I paid for expedited shipping $9.99 on Friday and receive it Monday. I plan to get some of the other colors now!

I've done a lot of research on iPhone cases and this one looks like the best at first glance. It's nice and slim, clips on easily. This looks like one of the best cases.

That might be true for the first week or so, but then you begin to realize its flaws.

First off, though it feels nice, it's actually made from cheap materials. (It looks pretty from the outside, but the inside is left uncolored. People are right, it's just spray painted to look nice) After some use, the color begins to chip on the edges and you REALLY begin to see how cheap it is. (under the paint is a cream color)

Secondly, it looks like it would protect the phone from scratches. But that also is not entirely truthful. I agree, it protects the phone from external scratches and whatnot. But what you'll soon to notice is that the case itself gives the phone a lot of scratches, particularly at the silver edge of the phone. It isn't pretty.

I gave the item two stars (instead of one) because it does do what it's supposed to. It IS the slimmest case that protects it from external use. It looks pretty and doesn't add bulk.

It's like those used cars you see at the lot. They look pretty and sell for a nice price. But chances are, something's wrong under the hood.

Why I chose this product:
At first glance I knew that this case is what i wanted: a slim light and stylish design or a case. I wasn't worried about impact protection since i don't plan on dropping my phone and i am very careful with my phone. All i wanted was scratch protection.

What I Experienced with the case:
This case turned out to have its pros and cons.
Pros:
-this case is very stylish. I've had people ask me about it
-Very efficient for scratch protection of the aluminum backing. nothing else
- Very pleasant texture. with the brushed aluminum of the iphone, it is slipper and causes one to hold it with care since there is no grip. with this case the texture gives a very comfortable feel. i would describe it as a velvety feel.
-the case is very snug fitting

Cons:
- hand oil shows and the white color gets easily dirty. if you are considering the colors, the black is the best looking but still show the finger oil prints because of the texture of the case. the pink color is identical to a pink razor and makes the iphone look like a pink razor. the white color is alittle akward. it gets discolored over time from finger prints, denim die , pen ink, and dirt. alcohol doesn't clean it. the silver color is a little off of the actual brushed aluminum color of the iphone but from a distance it seems to blend. the red color is the only one i did not purchase.
the case offers no impact cushioning it turns out that i dropped my phone and it is starting to separate at between the chrome frameing and the back portion
-provides no protection of the chrome framing. Every part of my chrome framing has mirco scratches including the parts that are seemingly protected by the case.
-THIS CASE IS NOT DOCKABLE. but it is easy to take off so i just take it off when using stereo docks or the charging dock

Summary:
This case has three primary functions. To create a unique look, to provide a comfortable texture and to protect the majority of the back. Providing a comfortable has to be this cases best characteristic. You are going to be surprised about this aspect. I can't ever use my phone without this case. The brushed aluminum is too slippery. This case gives you the comfortable texture with out bulk or changing the entire look of the phone. Every feature is just as accessible. The black color is the best looking one.

This is one of the coolest, if not the coolest, case on the market for iPhone....and I have seen most of them. It fits like a glove and feels great...and doesnt attract any dust. It is easy to put on and take off (for charging). I have had it for 2 weeks now and have not had any problems with scratches while putting on and off. Don't know how safe the case will be if the phone falls, but for all other purposes it has worked great. Highly recommended. It is so much cheaper than the alternatives (though shipping at $6.49 is a rip off) so buy it even as a second case..though I can easily say you will make it your first choice!

I bought this hoping that it provided a non-stick surface so I can set the iPhone down in the car and have it not slide around the console. I was disappointed to see that the case is hard plastic and only slightly more 'grippy' than a naked iPhone. The term 'soft polycarbonate' deceived me as that translates to plastic more than rubber. If you're looking for an extremely minimalist case that provides a little bit of protection for the back ad sides... this will do the job. I was additionally hoping for a bit of additional 'grip' and thus found it a partial fit. It is so thin... you hardly notice it's there.
