I bought that cable to connect my iPod touch to the TV. I didn't pay much attention that it says that it only works up to firmware 2.2 . In my case the firmware is 3.1.3 and the cable doesn't work.

A word of caution. This cable does not work with the current software version on the IPOD Touch. If you want to save money and purchase this inexpensive cable then you made need to re-install an earlier software version on your IPOD Touch to make it work.
The advertising of this product should specify the inconsistency. Save yourself the hassle and spend a few dollars more by purchasing the cable directly from Apple. I did and have not had any more problems since. |
