It took some time, but I finally imported all my 80's rock CDs and my current favorites on my Shuffle. It's so cool that I have about 400 of my all time favorite songs on this little piece of technology, with room to add about 100 more. It certainly brings a smile to my face when I listen - especially with the song shuffle option - I'm listening to 70's Eagles, 80's Def Leppard, 90's Goo Goo Dolls to today's Nickelback with a mix of today's country and pop! I'm about to be 40 and I definitely recommend this to everyone my age. It's very easy to operate and even easier to enjoy.

I purchased this mp3 player about a week ago, and was very excited to see a packaged had arrived in only 3 days. The Shuffle is a great way to listen to a smaller selection of tunes on the go. The size of it is simply amazing. (Roughly 1.3 inches wide, 0.8 inches tall, and 0.2 inches thick) The player is so well designed i find myself just looking at it!

-the dock is tiny, but with a foot long cable.
-Recomends itunes, which only sells protected music, making other mp3 players useless to former Ipod users.
-Itunes is very hard to use with slow internet, frusterating to update.

All in all, a great player, but you might want to invest in a new dock/headphones.

I never had an iPod or MP3 player before so it was all new to me. First I had to have some help getting the box open. Then I needed help on transferring downloaded music from my computer to the iPod. Now that someone helped me, I can do it all and it is all incredibly easy! I love everything about it! I want to show everybody! I love living in this modern day and age where I have traveling information and music! It has opened up a whole new world. Today I ordered 2 more iPods. (Big Smile)

i bought this thing about three years ago. i got this purple color at wal-mart, and i haven't had one problem with it. I bought it for 74.00, and for some reason the price is 200. but this thing has worked perfectly. awesome sound, easy to work, sturdy, AND it has a nifty little clip. i couldn't be happier. i highly recommend this for people who want something that holds at least ten CD's, has no screen, easy to put music on, and has a clip for people who work out. if you want something cheaper, buy the Zen Stone, which is basically the same thing, but cheaper and has rounded corners.

I absolutely love this little iPod. It's perfect for playing music. Perfect portibility, perfect sound quality, perfect price, perfect size and weight; anything you ask about this device the answer will be perfect. The only downside to this is that you can't go on the internet or play games on it, but that sometimes is a plus, like if a six or seven year old wanted a nice music player and you don't want to spend lost of $ and let them go on the internet, this is for you. Also, not being able to have apps takes away the temptation to, so the battery won't be drained and you wno't waste your time on apps. I've had my shuffle for 6 years, and the only thing standing in the way of passing it off as being new is a VERY tiny cut in the circle. It's barely noticeable. I would definetly reccommed this AMAZING iPod shuffle to anyone who wants a nice, simple, easy-to-understand, no-huge-manuals kind of music player. It's so simple, a 114 year old grandmother could be a pro at using it. I love it for excersising, because I can just clip it on my shirt/pants, no pockets needed. The price is just right, and you don't need to be a grown-up with a full time job with a huge salary to afford it. I bought this with my own money as a kid, with still some money to spare. As I said before, this iPod is the best, and this is the right one for just about anyone.

I love this .... I just clip and walk, run, etc. The memory is large enough for my songs and really for the price I paid it is EXCELLENT!!! I have tried other's but there bulky, fall off...

I decided to buy this after seeing a friends. I was looking to get something small for the gym that I didn't have to have strapped to my arm or have to hold. This was perfect.Clips right on your clothes and stays there. I also got the 2GB so I could have more songs. It was the best thing I bought so far this year! I even take it to work with me and listen to music on my breaks. Which has allowed my stress level to go down.
This little gadget is quiet wonderful.

What is there to say about the iPod shuffle that hasn't already been said in all the other reviews?

So here are the five things *I* like best about it:

It's small and lightweight and goes right into my shirt pocket.
It's inexpensive so if i lose or break it or if it is stolen no big deal.
I can use the controls without looking at it.
It holds just the right amount of music.
Sand doesn't mess it up at the beach.
The charge lasts a long time.

Okay, so that's six.

Anyway, I've had my shuffle for 2 1/2 years and I still love it.

I love my Shuffle Ipod. I use it mainly for working out. Before getting the Ipod I would get bored with my workouts. I was using a walkman, but then I had to listen to the radio and deal with commercials, static, etc. Since getting the Shuffle, my workouts are a breeze and I actually enjoy them!! I get to listen to my songs and no commercials! I loaded it with mostly upbeat, workout songs and I'm working out more than I ever did. I'm so glad I got it. It's also very easy to download CD's or get songs off of Itunes. I'm not real good at the computer stuff, but this was very simple, so if you're worried about that, don't be. If you just want to have some music to listen to and no other fancy gadgets, this is definiitely the Ipod for you and the price is right.

I purchased this shuffle specifically to go with a new head set made by Arriva. The shuffle fits directly into the wrap around ear buds - no wires, weighs almost nothing. It plays for longer than expected without recharging.
