Whether you are 5 or 50 this book is for all ages, especially if the adult is an altered book artist. The engineering of this book is a great lesson in creativity of pop up. I bought it for all of the above and of course it makes me smile!! 4 paws up!!

This is one of a serie of educational, creative and fun pop-up books (Applebee's Shapes, Applebee Cat Opposites and Applebee's Colors). The friendly cat Applebee and a group of nice mouses show the numbers 1 to ten in a funny way.
The pop-up mechanisms are clever and special.
A wonderful small size pop-up book.

My son is 18 months old and he absolutely adores anything having to do with cats. He loves this, and all of the Applebee books. He brings this book to me to read to him over and over again. He is surprisingly gentle with the things that pop-up, and loves to look at it by himself. I highly recommend it!

This book is so fun. It teaches kids colors and the pop-ups are fun for kids & adults! I bought the whole series (numbers, shapes & opposites)...The Opposites book is the best one, I think. Just be careful because the pop-ups can be a bit fragile in kids' hands. Look for it at Borders...I found each one for $2.99!
