OK. I expected more receipts. The photos are great. I would not buy it if I had picked it up at Barnes and Noble.
I also expected to see more text on the different types of apples we have in the US...at this time of the year.

I got it today and can't stop reading through it. Already I can't wait to make Apple Bisteeya, Fried Apple Hand Pies, and Spiced Apple Chutney. Also, make your own apple cider vinegar and amazing breakfast recipes? I'm really excited to try a bunch out. And I got it in time to make a killer apple pie for Thanksgiving.

I first learned about Amy Pennington and her work when a friend gave me Urban Pantry, and I've been absolutely loving her Fresh Pantry series, which are great monthly e-books of seasonable cooking. I really recommend you check them out if you love thoughtful, easy-to-follow but super saavy recipes for fresh, seasonal dishes!
