It's a good book for beginers want to learn COBOL/400; lack of ILE concepts, which are common in use on AS/400.

This book is a great reference manual for novice to expert programmers. The author uses many examples that are easy to understand and practical. The Index is well organized and useful. The book has several appendix sections that are invaluable for reference. The only words that I can give this author are 'thank you!'
