If you are going to lead a Bible study, this study Bible is an excellent resource. Each footnote is tailored to apply scripture to our lives and explains how we can be more effective for God's Kingdom.

I ordered this Bible for my husband because I've enjoyed my own Life Application Study Bible so much. I got mine about 8 or 9 years ago and only got a hardcover edition at that time. I wanted him to have a Bible that would stand the test of time and that he would enjoy using. I firmly believe that you get what you pay for in most cases and in this case, the comparison between real leather and the other imitation leather Bibles that are on the market is really no comparison at all. This Bible is a pleasure to hold and it will stand the test of time.

I just want people to be aware that this is a burgundy Bible. I didn't see anywhere on the review where it stated the color so wanted to mention this. I will be searching to find the ISBN # for the black version of this Bible.

This is a beautiful Bible and wonderfully handcrafted.It is different from any other leather Bible I had ever seen.My nephew was thrilled with it as a graduation gift.I rate the Life Application Bible as one of the best ever written for study of the Bible and how to apply it to your life.

This is truly a bible to be treasured. The look and feel is just awesome. It makes it hard to remember that what's inside is most important.

When I first purchased this Bible for someone, I had no idea that it would become a start of a new life for me. This is the FIRST Bible I have EVER been able to understand! The scripture is at the top of the page and the footnotes for that scripture is at the bottom. No more searching for the answers. It is awesome. I wish I knew how many of these Bibles I have now bought for people, over the years. I cannot say enough good things about the Lord's word. This Life Application, NIV Version is the BEST Bible in the world!

I am very favorably impressed with this study bible. I am far from a theologian and find it to be most helpful in my struggle for understanding. At the same time, I believe it would be a worthwhile reference for someone much advanced in the study.

I sold Bibles for a couple years and this was the best. The commentary is wonderful as well as the profiles and maps. I give it as a gift every chance I get and it is always very well received. This Bible really helps to break down some of the more confusing passages and put them into terms that we can understand today. You wont be disappointed.

I bought this bible at the Christian Book store for $69. It is by far the best bible I have ever owned. All verse's are explained in detail.Highly recomend.

I've been using this NIV Life Application Study Bible for my personal bible study and also took it to church with me. The notes at the bottom of each page give insight into what's in each chapter. In some cases, I've found that the notes answer questions I might have about something in the passages.

I teach a children's Sunday School class and our lesson today was about Samson. I was able to use some of the Bible commentary to enhance what the lesson told us about Samson.

The extra notes were great to read about the Bible verses used in the pastor's sermon. I know that I'll enjoy this Bible for many years to come.

I'd definitely recommend this Bible to anyone who is ready for a new Bible--and to give as a gift to any new church member or Bible student.
