This is an excellent book. I purchased the first edition new in 1970 and it has been a frequently consulted text. I bought the second edition recently because it contained more information, more examples and included a much broader presentation of SI units. Having now perused it I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comprehensive, well presented and thus useful text on the applications of thermodynamics.
